Dr. Katie Erdlitz has been employed with Fairhope Pediatrics since the doors opened in 2009. She was raised in Fairhope by Randy and Dena Skinner and is the sister of Dr. Katrina Skinner. In her spare time, Dr. Erdlitz enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and her 3 daughters, Mary Catherine, Sarah, and Caroline. She enjoys golf, cooking, and reading.
She earned a BSN and MSN from the University of South Alabama and the DNP from Troy University. She also holds the Pediatric Mental Health Specialist certification. In addition to working full time at Fairhope Pediatrics, she serves as part time faculty at the University of South Alabama’s College of Nursing. Dr. Erdlitz has served six years on the NAPNAP Conference Planning Committee and is currently a member of the Alliance for Youth at Risk for Suicide champion group which is part of the NAPNAP Partners for Vulnerable Youth. She has presented pediatric healthcare topics at both the state and national levels many times. She has also contributed to learning opportunities for online educational platforms.
