Katrina Skinner MD, FAAP
Dr. Katrina Skinner, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, Alabama, opened her hometown pediatric practice right after completing her training at the University of Florida – Sacred Heart. She is passionate about caring for the children in her community and finds great joy in watching local families grow.
What began in 2009 as a small practice has since grown to serve thousands of patients from Fairhope and the surrounding areas. Dr. Skinner leads a dedicated team of providers and support staff who work together to ensure the best care for every child who walks through their doors.
Dr. Skinner is a nationally recognized speaker and consultant. She is the founder of two companies, Women in Pediatrics and Pediatric CEO, both providing personal and professional development for fellow pediatricians. Dr. Skinner is also a past president of the Alabama Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and continues to serve on their board, where she champions the well-being of children and pediatricians across the state.
In her free time, Dr. Skinner enjoys cooking and entertaining, often spending time with family and friends in her kitchen. She also loves knitting, yoga, and exploring new travel destinations with her husband, Matthew.
